Dr. Zhenguo Nie is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Tsinghua University. His research interests include intelligent design and manufacturing, intelligent medical engineering, surgical robots and devices, etc. He has published more than 40 technical articles in journals, refereed conference proceedings, and edited books. He is a committee member and fellow of International Federation for the Promotion of Mechanism and Machine Science (IFToMM-Beijing), and also a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (CMES), Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (CSTAM), and Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering (CSBME).
