The JCISE Editor’s Pick Awards are given to the best papers published in the ASME Journal of Computing and Information Science in Engineering (JCISE), which are selected based on the criteria of significant contributions to novel computational or modeling methodologies, potential impacts on the engineering of products, processes, or systems, as well as likely influence on future research directions. Each year, JCISE receives over 700 submissions and publishes with an acceptance rate of 16%. Only one published article in each JCISE thrust area is selected to receive this award annually.
